IM Odion Aikhoje (2263) wins Maxton Suite Blitz Tournament  without a single loss to finish 8.5points out of 9 in the just concluded Maxton Suite Blitz Tournament.
IM Adu Oladapo (2314) came second ending with 7points out of 9 while, FM Balogun Oluwafemi (2199) came 3rd after loosing to both IM Odion Aikhoje and IM Adu Oladapo in the mid rounds consecutively, drew against Lapite Oluwadurotimi (2056) and went ahead to win Faseyitan Oluwafemi (2140) and CM Charles Campbell (2168) to have 6.5points out of 9.

There was a delay before the commencement of this round. The system the Arbiter was using crashed. Most people thought the games had to be restarted. Thanks to all the players who co-operated fully by telling the arbiter who they played and what their results were for the first 2 rounds. This enabled a faster mode of getting the results right in other to continue this 3rd round successfully.
There were no upsets in this round, all the favourites won.

IM Odion Aikhoje defeated Olanrewaju Ajibola, while in the battle of the two Dapos (IM Adu Oladapo vs Odugbesan Adedapo), Dapo won i.e. Odugbesan Adedapo.
Abdulrahman Abuldraheem defeated CM Dieyi Roland. While Fabeyo Fred found himself at the lower 4 boards in the tournament. This time defeated Olubunmi Oluwatobi.

Round 8
IM Odion Aikhoje extended his lead by defeating Abdulrahman Abdulraheem winning the tournament with a round to spare thanks to CM Charles Campbell who held IM Adu Oladapo to a draw.
